Peace of mind....

Well, today I was on leave to settle a few things mainly.
I do my yearly health checkup at my GP and this year, something "weird" was detected in me... It took me quite a while to go visit the specialist and now, everything's confirm to be normal and fine... phew... Thank God for that and everyone's concern! :)

After the checkup, I went to Novena for lunch and the feeling is not that nice.. Lunch time and the whole place is so crowded, even hard to find a seat... With lots of thoughts running thru my mind, I can't enjoy my lunch...

After lunch, I took the train down to Lavender ICA to collect my new passport. It's really past, less than 5 mins of waiting, I got my new passport and this is thanks to the Internet appointment. The whole place was filled with people and I think many had to wait for hours to collect. There was even one woman who confronted the counter person after I collected my passport, asking why I got mine so fast and she's waited for hours but still no news... Gosh... Sigh... Singaporeans~

After that, I took the train again, this time round to AMK. Mainly I was there to buy my shampoo and body shampoo from O2 Skin. There used to be a branch at the plaza near my place, but too bad, it's closed down.. So I gotta go there buy. You might be wondering why need to go there.. well, I've tried a number of shampoos but none seem to be as good as O2, no dandruff, no sensitivity and it really controls my oily scalp problem. Also, the body shampoo seems to "cure" the dryness on my legz... Now I no longer need to apply body moisturizer to keep my legs moisten...

Finally, after all the above, I headed home with lots of stuffs... Dropped the stuff and got changed before leaving for the gym! Tiring... Off to bed soon! :P

Wat a scare!

Had a little scare beginning of this week.... Luckily everything turned out well and nothing too serious happened! What's most important is being healthy!
I took 1 day off yesterday to accompany a friend for some check-ups and after lunch, had wanted to go ICA collect my passport, but it will only be ready today.
I checked the online appointments and seems like all Sats are already fully booked, so I will go collect it end of the month when I'm taking another day's leave to see a doc.

Pretty excited, will be going to Bandung, Indonesia end Sept with my parents and Apple. We will mainly b going there to visit our poly good fren Merlin aka Melon... we were so close during poly days and now she has 2 kids... So looking forward to meeting her and her kids! :D

Lunch with Shihua

I met up with Shihua for lunch yesterday at Manhattan Fish @ Northpoint.
It was a nice gathering and catchup for both of us as usual.... :)
The food's still ok and not that good... Too oily I feel...
We then went to shop a while before I headed for my gym in CCK...

Friday evening after work was relaxed and nice for me too! Really enjoyed the short nice n quiet moment! :)

Congrats to the couple on their wedding on 2 May 2010!
KG was my poly classmate, so I was invited to his wedding dinner too.
A pretty cool experience, the first full vegetarian wedding that I attended.
The food was so so though... but it was a nice catchup with my poly frens...

Happy happy day

Today is a very very nice and good day for me.
Though I wasn't feeling well and went to the doc this morning... And spent $34 on the GP visit, but I had a really good few hours in the afternoon.
Everything is worthwhile.. every effort put in....
