The past week...
The past week has been pretty busy for me....
Late last week and beginning of the week, I was not feeling that well. Probably because I caught in the heavy rain 3 times last week after work... Kept sneezing non stop and coughing too... But I'm ok now, so :).
On Tues, I saw on FB that KS's dad has passed away. So I met up with some poly classmates at AMK on Thurs to send our condolences. Though it's supposed to be sad, we had a great catchup with one another. Esp before going over, I met Alan early as the rest were late and we had quite a great carchup on his new life - getting married and all...
Then after that, I went for dinner with Law & Kenny and it was a really nice catchup too.We were also discussing if we prefer a higher pay but work like mad... or getting a lower pay and being able to start n leave work on time. I chose the latter as I knew very well that's what I wanted, rather than working so many hours a day and no life... Though my life is pretty boring, but I'm enjoying it as it is now... So Alan, stop giving me the idea of finding someone to rely on for life. :P
Friday evening was crazy for me... I went to gym after work and after gym, I went to the bus stop to wait for my usual bus, but the bus was super late. From a 7 min frequency, the 190 bus came only 2 times, 29 mins apart in an hour... I was late for my tuition so I decided to walk to the LRT station and too bad, the LRT was only working 1 way instead of the normal 2, so every train that came was full! Damn! In the end, I had to cancel my tuition. World class public transport... sigh... I had the makeup lesson yesterday morning and felt bad for the lateness on Fri night. A less than 15 mins journey home, took more than 1.5 hours. :(
This weekend was pretty much the same. Yesterday went to the gym, then met my mum n sis for late lunch at about 3pm. Had wanted to go home direct as it was raining heavily but my mum persuaded me to join. :P then we went to NTUC to buy some vegetables before heading home...
And today, I stayed home the whole day. The weather's so HOT.... Aragh...
Back to office tomorrow. :p

Tuition again!
I've just started my tuition life again this evening! I actually wanted a break and maybe give up tuition... But my neighbour approached me on Wed night when I came home, asking me to tutor their daughter Joan again.
Yes, I did give her tuition last year but stopped after 9 months as Joan feels she can handle her subjects, so we stopped. Just Wed night, her mum Jessie ask for tuition again. In fact, Joan was the one who requested it as she cannot cope with her subjects. Basically all her grades dropped, esp in Maths & Chinese. There were some topics in Maths that she cannot comprehend at all, so we went thru those topics again and I'm glad she could understand my explanation...
Since it's already Apr, so hopefully we have enuogh time for her to catchup before her exams in May. :)

Updates!
Ok, so I've jus posted quite a number of pictures in the last post..
And here are some updates....
CNY @ Granny's house
As we can see from the last post, some of those pics are taken on CNY @ my Granny's house in JB. But it's just that I'm been lazy to upload and post them up... My hair looked a bit messy when taking with Yan Jin as my the fans were "blowing" in my direction. Once a year gathering with my extended family was great! :)

It's been a few months since I met my dear for dinner. She's been so busy in her new work, it's hard to date her... LOL. I've always enjoyed going out and chatting with her and we're alwiz wondering how the world we became best frens when we've basically nothing in common.. our likes, dislikes, hobbies, the way we handle and do things... are like totally opposite.
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the evening with her, eating, chatting and a stroll down Orchard Road, jus because I told her I wanna go OG and see if can find some biscuits... hee...
Take care dear and we shall meet up again sometime soon when you're free! :)

Hee, I almost missed the wedding dinner as I remembered the date wrongly! Sigh... Luckily, Maeve sms-ed me on the same morning and asked for the timing to go together, else I'd have though it was on 18 Apr 2010. :) So happy to see my old fren from kindergarten getting married happily. We've known each other for more than 22 year! Woot... Since 6 years old in kindergarten.
Though we seldom meet, but we're still close. It's really a sweet and nice wedding.
Congrats gal, on becoming Mrs Tow.
Let's meet up sometime again when you're more free and settled... But definitely b4 u leave for Abu Dhabi... :)

Catchup with Hui Nee!
It's been almost 3 years since I last met up with this woman.
She's my ex-colleague from the previous company and I trained her b4 I left.
Now, she's doing much better in her new career and I wish her all the best.
There has really been so much for us to catch up on...
We also watched a movie- How to train the dragon after my work today.
Did not expect it to be so nice and touching. I even teared towards the end... Also, she must feel very priviledged, coz it's my first ever movie for the past 3 years... Ever since I took up my degree course mid-2007, I've not watched any movie in movie theaters.
Dinner was good too at Lao Di Fang in Park Mall tonite... The only regret is, we forgot to take some photos that evening.
God knows when we'll meet up again... But I'm hoping it's not for another 3 years.. tsk tsk...

It's April...
So fast, it's already April.
Can't imagine the first quarter of 2010 juz passed by juz like that...
I juz got my yearly health report from the clinic... Not very good news for something, but I guess should be ok. :)
